Event Details:
Andra Keay is managing director of Silicon Valley Robotics, founder of Robot Launch, cofounder of Robot Garden hackerspace, a Director at Robohub.org, Visiting Scholar at UC Berkeley's CITRIS People and Robots initiative, and an angel investor in robotics startups. In conversation with Piero Scaruffi.
Robots are taking over during the pandemic, from Rwanda to Romania, and they may be here to stay. What can robots do to prevent a pandemic and to help during a pandemic? Will robots save us from the next pandemic, or will they cause a socio-economic pandemic? Given the rapid technological progress, maybe the question is no longer: "What can robots do?" but: "What shouldn't robots do?"
These are some of the issues that we will explore with Andra Keay, an international expert of the robotic field.
