Cantor Arts Center, just off Palm Drive, at Museum Way and Lomita Drive Map

The artist Hope Gangloff will be at the Cantor from May 21-29, and using the museum's atrium as her painting studio. Visitors are invited to watch her work!

This artistic action is part of Artist at Work 2017: Hope Gangloff, the first iteration of the Diekman Contemporary Commissions Program, an exhibition series that invites artists to use the museum as a laboratory for experimentation and as a platform for creating new work. Several portraits by the artist will be installed along the atrium’s balcony, invigorating the historic space with the vibrant energy of current artistic practice.
*The artist is scheduled to be painting at the times listed above, but visitors may encounter her at various times working in the atrium during her visit

Open Wed-Mon 11am - 5pm, Thursdays until 8pm; admission is free. CLOSED TUESDAY.
