The exhibition reflects not only the excellence of current studio art practice at Stanford but also connotes the exchange of ideas among faculty and students and the quality of the art experience on campus. “Stanford's art faculty continues a tradition that began with the founding of the university in the late 19th century. Studio artists have flourished at Stanford, and today's faculty is particularly strong,” said Cantor Arts Center's Freidenrich Director Thomas K. Seligman.
