Putting the Breaks on Stress

Even when employers allow ample time for breaks, we often don't take them, or if we do, we don't use the time effectively or pick the right kind of breaks to reduce stress and recharge. It's no surprise then that by mid-afternoon, our energy is low, concentration is reduced, and our ability to get work done is diminished. This class is an introduction to the technique of using breaks for reducing stress and increasing energy. It will cover basic stress reduction/relaxation techniques, brain hemisphere balance, as well as creative ways to take short or longer breaks, depending on what time is available. (You may wish to bring your weekly planner if you have one.)
