Want to increase your energy, your metabolism, and tone up your muscles? If so, you may want to start a strength training program that is so easy you can even do it at work or home. This class, led by HIP Fitness Program Manager Jerrie Thurman, covers what you need to know to create a basic strength training program. It will cover what equipment you need to train at your desk or at home, and how to get started with an effective strength building and muscle conditioning program. Recommended stretches, injury prevention, and other specific questions raised by participants will be addressed in this workshop. Course fee includes the book "Fitness 9 to 5" by Shirley Archer. Come dressed in casual clothes.
