Stanford's Mechanical Engineering Design Group invites you to celebrate the creative work of our students at our annual Design Fair. The Design Fair is part of EXPE, the Stanford Design EXPErience, which features podium presentations, mini-conferences and demonstrations that showcase student work in design research, design practice, engineering, and manufacturing.
This year, EXPE is expanded to encompass a broad cross-section of design thinking activities at Stanford. The Design Fair is densely packed with booths from classes in ME Design, Computer Science and Communications. You will see car designs, test out “Facework”, sit in the “Back Relief Chair”, learn about building your own bicycle, discover what “Psychoacoustics” is, and interact with some very high tech gadgets and computer programs.
Please visit our web site to find a full list of participating classes. You will also find driving and parking directions, and a map of our location.
The Design Fair is held on June 4, 2009, from 2:00 — 5:00pm, outside the Terman Engineering Center. The Fair is open to the public, and is a great way to meet the innovators of today and tomorrow!
